Images found today
Going through my rarely touched large image collection today I found a few things of interest. Notably I found 8 prints of an old Richard Simkin painting called The Irish regiments of the British army. These must be worth a few bob. I remember a mate giving them to me way back in the late 80's. In those days we didn't have the superb marketplace of the internet so I just put them away and they've survived without being damaged. Just a bit crinkly in places but not wrinkled or creased at all.
Another one was this excellent picture of us night firing with Chieftain at Castlemartin in 1982 - spectacular! Chieftain night firing - mortar illum.jpg Isn't it funny that you don't realise what you've got sometimes?
