Default Arrived today still in FIRMIN packet.

Royal Irish Regiment arrived today, was surprised to find it still in its original packet, but not for long.
Tony.

Tony,
Interesting packet as the NSN and other details are incomplete

I have a similar one:

Normally this type of numbering is not relevant to any MoD contract or issue, but a private contract.

That's right Marc but the private contract could be to the regiment itself in cases where a badge was authorised by the Army Dress Committee but has to be provided at regimental expense.

However, it seems that quite a few dealers are/were also commissioning badges from Firmin where packets show the same NSN and pattern No. details.

Difficult to be sure!

Regards,

Chris
