I think the interesting point is that all the correspondence so far, has been that the original picture I posted "Royal Marines Commando" title was never used or no picture of that style being used , at least that how I interpreted the correspondence. They were using Multiple insignia and Cash tapes post WWII and then from 1954-70's a thicker version of RMC was introduced.

When would that SS Cdo Bde stop being worn as the recruit looks like he is a new fresh member of the Royal Marines?

Either way as you point out Mike Nov. 44-46?
