Default 8th Hussars

Hi Guys

Still weeding out the bad from the good, any thoughts on these three from 8th Hussars

QVC badge is definitely fake, sorry.

The 8th Hussars were still wearing kings crown badges on amalgamation. The Q/C badge is modern especially with that maker's mark.

As Alan says the QC has been discussed previously. Only officers appear to have worn a QC version of this badge.

Re the KC badge personally I’d go for one with a braze hole behind the crown but as this badge was worn right up to the 1950s it isn’t necessary, so yours may be genuine but I couldn’t say for certain. For peace of mind and to be absolutely sure I’d replace it for one with a braze hole if it was mine.
