help with african/ ugandan badge

i posted this in the unknown section but thought maybe the SA collectors might know.
any ideas what this badge is? looks like it could be Ugandan?
any help appreciated

Hi,

I would say definitely Ugandan, and apart from that I don’t think that is much more that I can add other than that both Kenya and Tanganyika also had their own specific Medical Departments which would have been originally set up by the various Protectorate/Colony and Territorial Governments. There were also independent departments for tsetse fly control etc; these also had their own cap badges.

A civil service department. As Zob said both Kenya and Tanganyika had similar medical departmets. They also all had Veterinary Departments with similar type badges.
