Default (Not so) interesting RA cap badge?

Dear forum,

I recently acquired this cap badge along with a number of Great War cap badges. It struck me as of as it seems slightly larger than usual and is quite roughly cast.

Is it anything interesting or just a bog standard badge?

Many thanks,

Thanks very much for the reply chaps. I thought it seems different to other RA cap badges I’ve seen before and now I know why!

Many thanks,

Hopefully one of the Canadian chaps will chip in to confirm but if I recall correctly I think this is post WW1 variety. Believe the WW1 version has ‘Canada’ in stead of Ubiqie on the uppermost scroll.

Cheers,
Luke

Its post 1926 when the Canada banner was replaced with Ubique, but is of a later production and almost certainly WW2.
