Default Canadian Artillery Helmet Plates

Can anybody tell me who wore which plate? Was there a time difference when they were worn? As always thanks in advance, Dag.

I believe the one on the left was worn by the regular Army in the late Victorian period and the other is the militia version worn during the same time. Are they for sale? I have the Victorian helmet for those plates but is missing the plate.
