Default 2 RAMC variants

Hi all

I have these 2 RAMC badges, and neither look anything like the other one I have framed, which I know to be good. Are these 2 variants, or are they duds?
Any input much appreciated!

Thanks

Colin

Colin,
As with any badge that was worn for a considerable period of time there will be some makers variations and subtle pattern differences! The badges you show are examples of this and not dud!

Colin,
These are good. I must have at least 10 varients of this badge, all good.
The one to the left of the picture I note to WWII as I have seen this exact example worn in photographs of RAMC men. The other is more difficult to tell.

Steven, I'd love to see all your ten variants, as I've only got three at the moment.

Not a badge that gets much of an airing. So here my two examples, the one on the right matches Colin's right hand badge..... IMO.
Cheers Tony.

The one on the left has realy thin crown arches which is a feature of quite a few reproduction corps badges.

Here are my three. The one on the left has the smooth wreath, as seen in Colin's badge on the left. The middle one lacks a void between the snake's tail, wreath and rod and has an uneven width wreath, the right side is much wider than the left. The one on the right has a pronounced voiding between the lower part of the rod and wreath on the right hand side.

A disheartening overkill. Here I was under the illusion seven more was manageable. Thanks for showing, helpful as always!
