Default RASC QC

Chris,
I have just obtained a RASC QC with slider marked R.A.HUGHES but the slider is fixed by two rivets. Is this usual?

Hi There,

Hughes used this fixing arrangement on their brass sliders but this one looks like aluminium - can you confirm?

Regards

Chris

Chris,

Yes thin aluminium 1.11mm

I also have an RASC QC with a blank slider in a silver finish - any interest?

That is thin - the brass version of this slider has been found to be 1.25mm thick and quite wide at 6.25mm.

Yes, I would be keen to see the silver version obverse and reverse.

Regards

Chris

Default RASC QC

Chris,
Looks less "silver" in photo but shown with the HUGHES version for comparison. There is also a slight size difference.
