Default RFC cap badge

Hi
I found this in a shoe box of stuff I haven't looked in for years ( about 20 years ? ) Not even sure where I got it . What do you think . A copy ?

No, not a copy, that lovely orange metal, it would have looked really magnificent when new.

It looks good.
Has anyone done research on the makers of RFC badges? I believe there was at least one Canadian maker.

Checking the mm's, I think I have found at least 3.

In many cases, it is not just the size, which is so often rather more than mm, the metals, the loops and completely differing details.

Sorry, by mm I meant maker marks. Yes, different makers had slightly different dies. Roden and Birks are two, and a third badge was made from a different die but no mkr mrk.

Oh okay, well you do certainly encounter, on occasion, the odd really superb example totally devoid of any mm, rather than the usual Roden made stuff, but, quite frankly, I like them all.
