Default The Robert Taylor Museum of Worldwide Arms - Vung Tau

While in Vietnam we found this brilliant privately owned museum by Robert (Bob) Taylor. Just a few of the many pictures taken of his huge collection.

The vast majority of his collection covers not only headgear but also uniforms and weapons.

Bob's a great bloke, we were talking all things military for well over an hour. Absolutely recommend a visit if your ever in Vung Tau.

I especially like the realistic faces on the mannequins, they set off the uniforms and head dress well.

A lot of nice items, although some of the mannequins are wearing mismatched items from different regiments & time periodswhich leads me to wonder if all of the exhibits eg the Prussian & Saxon helmets are genuine?

That is amazing thanks for showing it, you wouldn't expect this in Vietnam of all places - American artefacts and French yes but that is brilliant!
