Default Royal Air Force Pilot Wing theater made

Here is a wing from my small yet budding collection of wings. Appears for all intents to me anyway to be India made. While the wing itself is of a WW2 style the owner obviously served in WW1 by the ribbons presented below. Hope you enjoy.

Theatre made wings are, generally speaking, impossible to pin down to a country as they are individual and hand made. Thus India, the Far East and Africa are all possibilities. The medal ribbons give no indication to service in any of those areas though.

Very nice wing.

Thanks for the comments and input. I was less than complete with my initial post. These badges were part of the group and which lead me to say India. Early GHQ India I believe.

I think you have just answered your original thoughts on what it appears to be.

I felt India was the likely point of manufacture but anymore I am careful in making absolute statements. Many times as soon as it is posted an alternative answer or solution is found.
Thanks for looking in.
