Some Cadet? badges for ID

Here are three badges recently bought from ebay listed as possibly school or cadet related,
the first ETC or ETG has lugs that you sometimes find on South African badges
the second is Stirling Silver and bears a slight resemblance to one half of the Barnard castle school badge Rawlings 145
the third is Battersea Grammar school cadet corps Rawlings 165a
any help on the other two much appreciated , Kev

The first is from a College in Guernsey. Name escapes me. The second is the shield from the Coat of Arms of the former Borough of Hove (East Sussex).

That's not Elizabeth College badge. Similar but different.

Eliazabeth College OTC wore the Guernsey LI bugle with school title. The CCF wore the brass coat of arms.

It's a lapel badge for a Guernsey School rather than an OTC cap badge:

Are you sure about the Battersea Grammar School?

Only going on Keith Rawlings book, He has the shield version also. Kev

I think he got that one wrong. The figure of Minerva and the Greek motto does not appear on the school badge or school heraldry.

Just to confirm the Guernsey badge belongs to the Guernsey Grammar School the letters are EIG which stands for Ecole Intermediate Guernesaise. There is also a version with GGS. It has no military connection. A very similar badge but without the scroll forms part of the Guernsey Police epaulette display.

Thanks both , I did a bit of internet digging and couldn't find any link between Minerva and the school either, typicaly British looking badge though.
