Default Unidentified red wyvern over green sign

Has come with a small lot of WW2 formation signs, but this is the only one I have failed to identify. I am sure Mike will do, though... :-D

NOT a Wyvern! it has 2 pairs of legs.

(am now retiring to quiet corner for a G&T in order to restore good humour)

This reminds me that I have always been uncertain about these two signs being - as identified by John Waring - the first pattern sign worn by Carmarthenshire ACF. He described the sign (JW2/F20 as being embroidered on felt and as drawn in the pamphlet has no loop in the dragon's tail. The quality of these signs, the size (Left is 42mm x 37 mm and the Right is 48mm x 35mm) and the difference in dragons' tail makes me think that they were designed for something other than ACF. Has an expert in dragons got any alternative identifications? All suggestions welcomed. Mike

Second one with curly tail reminds me of the silver anodized collar for Welsh TA RA unit

There is also the difference in the right claw, up or down.

Well actually, someone else on here referred to the similar examples on ebay, though maybe I am a fool for repeating it.
