Default East Surrey Badge

hi guys
this came with a lot of bits and pieces today.
im almost certain its a restrike but thought i would run it by you all.
the unusual thing is its smaller than the usual badge.
any thoughts

Hi BC
Often with the small round vent holes, some faker who knows more than the rest has gone to the effort of drilling them to falsify the originality. The holes on this one however, look stamped through the back plate and not drilled, so despite the poor quality of the manufacture of this badge, it is probably original in my opinion.

Cool East Surrey beret badge

I think it could be the complex overlays that often make East Surrey cap badges poorly produced, some of mine look hideous compared to others, but I think your is an original.
