Hi Chaps,

Thought I would share this (very) little beauty that just arrived in the mail - a Leyland & Ormskirk Local Militia button, in gilt and by Nutting & Son (Ripley No75).

If anyone remembers that Little Britain skit with the lady saying "I love me froggies" well 'I love me Local Militia buttons..!'

Royal Glamorgan Militia Coatee button. No backmark but wonderful condition.

What size is yours?

Mine is 14.7mm (and has no backmark).

I'll have to check as the oldman's now framed up all the militia/rifle volunteer buttons, I know it's a small button though, here is two other variants as well.
