Number 4 has the motto Veho, juventus Fortuna, The Letter D&A at the sides and CCF at bottom, (Could it be Combined Cadet Force?)And the small enamelled badge has the word Poccia on blue enamel.

Thanks Paul

The wreath and horn, badge #2, is the Cameronians, the Scottish Rifles. If it is anodised aluminium then it was worn by cadet forces after the regt disbanded in 1968.

The silver shield #4 is a school Cadet badge for Dollar Academy and one I would be interested in if you were looking to sell it.

The others are not British.

No. 5 is, I believe, the Duke of Edinburgh's award.
Was it worn by D of E Royal Regiment as an award badge for best company or similar?

Edit - looks like the standard gold level award brooch. I think DERR had an embroidered cypher and coronet without wreath as an arm badge?

That is cyrillic for Rossia (Russia) and the eagle looks like that.

Many thanks for the replies.
I am still coming across badges in Dads collection that I cant I.D, it's my intention to put them in a nice display case when sorted, something he had been meaning to do for years.
