That is odd, the cap badge is facing the wrong way but looking at how his jacket is buttoned and the Sam Browne belt the picture does not appear to be reversed?

Hello Jo. Je pense que la photo est inversée, mais ce n'est pas grave. Les Belges ont eu une glorieuse petite armée dans le petit secteur libre qu'il restait. Les officiers portaient la cocarde belge (rouge jaune noir) mais pas de cap badge comme dans l'armée britannique ou seulement un N°. En dessous, l'insigne de grade. Nice day everywhere! The officers wore the Belgian cockade (red yellow black) but no cap badge like in british army or only a Number or the grade badge. Nice day everywhere! |

Hello Jean-Paul, you will notice that in the first photo ,Grisar is wearing his Sam Browm the right way and that his jacket is also buttonned the right way .
