Default Unknown Victorian ? naval badge ID required please

Hi Steve

I think you will find that this is a badge from a Victorian/Edwardian boys sailor suit. These were very popular for children at the time and came complete with badges and cap tallies. I raised a question about a very similar badge on the forum once myself. I will endeavour to find it and provide a link.

Steve,

I've found the topic I mentioned and your badge is of a very similar design - although the one I had was a red embroidered version. There is a very good picture of a boy wearing a sailor suit with a similar badge. The link is: -

I think it proves pretty conclusively that this is a badge from a childs sailor suit!
