Default 2 (US) Armored Division.

For the duration of Exercise Crusader 1980, one troop of (UK) Task Force Foxtrot's Signal Squadron was detached to HQ 2 (US) Armored Division in order to provide communication that would enable the Division to be placed under command HQ 1 (BR) Corps. That they did a good job is evidenced by the award of the Hell on Wheels patch to members of the Troop R Signals. This information was published by a retired Colonel R Signals who, in 1980, commanded the Troop. Mike
