Default Queens royal west surrey

Hello! I have seen this badge...I like it the markings...but I am not sure if is legit...I don't know very much about this badge...what do you think? Thanks!

1970's repro.

The full sized badge went out of use in the 1950s. The Gaunt Bham mark is found on a/a on 1960's badges but the metal ones are invariably Gaunt restrikes.

Oh...I just found a thread here...it is because pre 1920 have it but after 1920 dissapeared...right?

..and how about this one?...at the back you can see the wool on the skin...but at the front it has no wool on the body.. Do you think it's due to have been polished...or just a fake?

Default Lamb and Flag

As a National Service recruit in the Queen's Royal Regiment at Stoughton Barracks we were taught to polish the badge so that the wool was smoothed away but the details on the flag remained intact. Such fun.
