1970's repro.
The full sized badge went out of use in the 1950s. The Gaunt Bham mark is found on a/a on 1960's badges but the metal ones are invariably Gaunt restrikes. |

Lamb and Flag
As a National Service recruit in the Queen's Royal Regiment at Stoughton Barracks we were taught to polish the badge so that the wool was smoothed away but the details on the flag remained intact. Such fun.
