Default A collection of RAF Wing to share and Posssible I.D.

I recently picked up a box of RAF insignia. (x 200 plus).
Most I can I.D. with the help of dad (RAF Veteran).

Here is a few photos of the wings I would like to identify.
Subject to the amount of photos I can list here, I have a RAF oval disc plate with lugs. I have been looking for days, and have not come up with anything like it. Must be rare !

There is also a officer's hat band with what looks like a Yorkshire Regiment badge with wings, Any clues ?

Freddy

I've not done a search to conform this but 10 may be a RNAS or early RAF sleeve eagle- so 1918 ish. Regards, Paul.

No. 9 is a RAF 1919 limited issue cap badge, heavily faked. See http://www.britishbadgeforum.com/for...ighlight=eagle post # 14.

Could one of the loose Eagles with wire be off the band with Lancashire Rose missing the eagle, this ought to show up by seeing rear of other two?

A lovely collection to say I'm a little envious would be a lie! As I am Hugely Envious!!

Well done look forward to hearing what tge Oval is? Could it be for M.T. Dispatch rider? Arm badge?

Thanks for sharing billy

Default Still need more help with the other RAF Wings.

Hello Guys,
I am more than sharing these I need as much help as possible to identify them all.

Billy, you mentioned the Yorkshire Rose and Eagle Cap/Hat badge bands. Does any one know what these are. Having three of them now in my collection.

Any help with the others please.

Thank you for the link Thomas (fougasse1940) I will have read up this evening.

Thanks for your help so far.

The Yorkshire Rose with Eagle.
The badge is silvered, so is the Wings.
The badge is on the same band as RAF personnel.

Default RAF Wings with hook/loop

Has any one any idea about this one No.8
What would the hoop/hook be used for. What is this badge.
Cheers Guys for your help so far.

No.9 does look like the real thing. Old, dark, quality, and being in the box it came out of, I would be surprised if its not of the period RFC/RAF.

What about some sort of attachment for a cloak perhaps?

Perhaps the cap badges are from the Lancashire Aircraft Corpration. See the attached images from Gerry Stevens excellent book 'Civil Aviation Wings of the United Kingdom'.
