Default 239th Bn. badge on eBay
I see a 239th badge currently listed on eBay. The vendor only states "badge", not "cap Badge" or "collar badge". Badge size is given as 33mm horizontal and 28mm vertical.Would I be correct in assuming that this is a collar and not a cap badge?

That is my reading. The cap would be about 10mm more.
