Default Cadet Supply Department cap badges

I understand that in the 1980's the Cadet Supply department produced anodised base metal cap badges for CCFs. They were cast with lugs that were prone to breaking but cheaper than anodised aluminium cap bagdes.

I have 4 in my collection plus a Newcastle-on-tyne RG school CCF which is also cast and may be from the same company.

Has anyone a list of which ones were sold or an example in their collection of other schools who used them?

So far:

Stamford School,
Perse School
Bristol Grammar School
Newcastle-on-Tyne RG School
Sir Roger Manwood's School
I know a Bancroft's and a King Edward VI Chelmsford exist.

Alan,
Not much help but I have a copy of the Cadet Supply Department price list 1969-1970.
It covers uniform, footwear, camp equipment, flags, trophies, books and badges.

Under CCF Cap Badges it just says:
“Special Contingent Cap Badges can be made. Minimum quantity is 200 badges. Quotations on request.

At the time, the Cadet Supply Department was located at 58 Buckingham Gate, London SW1 which was a Royal Green Jackets T&AVR Drill Hall.

Tim

Thanks. That confirms that they were made to order so there will not be a catalogue of their badges anywhere. Hopefully there may be another few examples in other people's collections.

I can't explain why this painted one was so costly but that's ebay for you.

Alan, I know of three for Essex based units, two cap and one collar badge:

1. Bancrofts. Die struck, plated badge.

2. King Edward VI Grammar, Chelmsford. Lead plated die cast badge with lugs.

3. Again KEGS, a collar badge to the Essex Regiment shield pattern but die cast and in a much shinier metal.
