Default Unknown S V I Button

From a Flea market stall today, alleged to have been found by a local, but not sure where.

Measures 16mm, looks like "Firmins London" on the back.

Any thoughts please.

Rob

Hello Rob

Very nice find. It has been identified as Salisbury Volunteer Infantry 1831-1838 on this site - http://asahelena.wix.com/militarybut...uttons-s-u/c2b

Not sure how positive the identification is though!

Regards
Roger

Thanks Roger

That's fairly local to East Devon I suppose.
