Default Cloth badges dates

Hey

So I've been trying to work out when these were used is it
Is 1 world war one
Is 2 world war two
Is 3 after world war two

Is that right ??? I've no books for badges so just looking online to see stuff that's similar

Difficult question to answer simply.

The first title, commonly known as a pasteback is generally agreed to be WW2 but unofficial as it was preferred to the printed titles introduced in 1943 and was widely worn.

The second is definitely post-war by its construction.

The Palestine title is generally accepted as WW2 and worn by Palestinians in the British Army, like other national titles. I've only ever found this photo, published in The Formation Sign the Journal of The military Heraldry Society.
