Default A/A badge, where worn?

Picked up this Rifle Brigade A/A badge Saturday.

Its 3" X 2.25" in size with 4 screw post fittings at rear.

Could it be a from a shoulder belt ?

Gordon - A little out of my expertise, but I would say either a shoulder belt plate or even a Musicians Pouch going by the size.

Ritchie.

Gordon,

It looks like a lugged cap badge (are the dimensions the same as your usual cap badge?) that has had lugs removed - see solder areas to left and right.

Chris

Yes; may well be.

Thanks all

This think is much bigger than a cap badge
78mm x 57mm.

I am stumped too.
