Default Mysterious shako

This one's a bit of an antique, but hopefully someone can identify it. Recently acquired by a fellow collector but nationality, unit and vintage unknown so far.
Thanks in advance.

Maybe a European Forestry organisation or Band.

Thanks for the suggestion. That tree emblem is certainly an odd one. The pink body of the shako makes me think it's Austrian.

I don't think it Austrian, or military anyway, as it would have either a black and yellow/gold or a red and white pom pom or cockade depending on the time period.

My thought is some where in the balkans or South America.

According to the owner the pink is actually faded red (still visible under the braid), and there is a hole to fit a pom pom.
