Firing at aeroplanes will not be permitted ...
Against my own preferences not to report e-bay auctions before they are finished. However, it is nice and very much off topic.
Who would want to buy property stolen from the British Government anyway? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Trench-Ord...item54078cbd29 Damn nuisance those aeroplanes ... I once got myself a Field Guide Book for Officers. A quick glance showed a chapter on how to approach hostile villages. Printed 1895. Do not spend too much time reading it before you negotiate with the seller. Back home I noticed the author: W. Booth. |

It is being sold as a reproduction, so no issue with it being government property.
The seller certainly makes a big deal of the 100th anniversary of the Great War, more of which we will see in the coming months and years I think.

Btns, I thought that was what this hobby is about! After all we don't want to buy badges recently made in Pakistan, Coventry or Blackpool. We would rather buy badges bought by the British Government , and then ?. Eddie |
