OXFORDSHIRE HUSSARS
Hi team, I got this yesterday and wanted to run it by you all. I have an issue with the right lug and what seems to be feet.
Any thoughts. Simon. |

Simon,
The back of the badge looks really crisp. Is it possible that the dodgy lug is a repair job. I believe that PeterT did show a Gamages catalog where this type of foot was in it..... So where does that leave us with the 'blanket Forum view' that this type means the badge is bad...... Unless the crispness of the striking is not a good sign now, there needs to be something else..... Personally, and for what its worth, I like the striking. David |

Thanks Dave, me too. It was just when I got it I saw that right lug. From the picture I saw before I got it, they featured the left lug. As I said, I agree on the strike; pretty sharp. And the wear looks OK.
Let's see what the rest of the gang has to say. Thanks again Simon. |

Hi Simon
I agree with David..... it looks good..... not "all" feet on loops are bad. I am not sure what the badge is trying to be though.... is it a brown/black painted gilding metal..... is there paint in the back of the badge? Is it an Officers OSD or an ORs "tactical"?
