Default Royal Welsh Fusiliers Help needed Please

Hello to you all.I had this come today from a general dealer in militaria.I am not in anyway convinced that its right.Infact I don`t think it was the badge in the picture on the website.Please some second apinions cheers monty

Appears to be an all brass WW1 economy issue?
Take a look at the Albums to see how it compares with a good'un.

On the plus side I cannot see the fault line through the bottom of "Royal" that you get with the standard copy.
Against for this size badge (there are smaller pattern genuine EI examples with an almost scalloped edge) is that the only example I have kept is a Smith & Wright marked one. I haven't seen an unmarked larger size example that I liked yet. Not to say that they are not out there of course.
Looking again, I don' think the slider is right.

Default Slider shape

Manythanks for your comments.The biggest issue I have with it is as 41st has stated the slider shape.The other big thing that sadley my camera can`t pick up on is the colour of the brass is all wrong.I will send it back for a refund.Again thanks ror you views.Just one other thing £12.00 seems abit cheap?.
