Default Somerset Light Infantry

Having picked up a 3rd Militia Somerset LI badge I decided to attempt to check the history. From what I gathered they changed title to Special Reserve Bn in 1908 and remained in the UK during the 1914-1918 period, and at some date later changed title again to Territorial Volunteers. The badge is brass of solid construction and good definition, it has a slider which i think was introduced around 1906. Can anyone shed light on the use of this pattern badge after 1908 - and is this one genuine.
