Default 4th Gurkha Rifles Badge

Hi guys,

What are your opinions on this 4th Gurkha Rifles badge?
Is it original and if so what time period can it be attributed to?
Also what would be the value of such a Gurkha badge?
I am looking forward to your opinions.

Kind regards,

Sjors

Hi Sjors - yes its genuine. Is it white metal or is that a trick of the camera?
If its white metal then its a servants badge worn 1930's > 1940's. If its brass ( would have originally been blackened ) and would have been worn on the Gurkha Hat by all ranks from 1900 > 1947. If it’s a white metal ( servants) badge I'd be interested in it ? Tim
