Default Pilot wings on poss pre war tunic, opinions please

Got this tatty old, named tunic I saw appear 'fresh' to a Dealers site, took a risk, my loss if its all 'wrong', didn't cost a massive amount
Could someone tell me what they think of this wing please? if 'correct' it would be from pre ww11.
I know the obvious thing to do would be to remove it and check underneath for a 'witness' mark....kinda loath to do that as whoever stitched it on did an excellent job,
Also not used an ultraviolet lamp.
Just wondered whether collectors on here could give me their opinions.
I have Eagles recalled and have searched other books and Googled, but cannot fine an exact match....would the tailor have made it?

Thanks for that!, I must admit it doesn't photograph well, looks really silky in the flesh.
The reason I said I hadn't found an exact match anywhere is the 'x' on top of the crown...it seems much finer than any wing I have ever seen which has similar?

There are literally hundreds of manufacturers variations. It's a fairly standard mid 30s to late 40s or early 50s wing.
