Default ORIGINAL WW2 RCAF BREVETS ?

Hello,
As to RCAF wings I confess I am an eye opener.
Would you consider these brevets as being of WW2 manufacture?
Thank you,
D.

Bonjour Dominique,

According to Warren Carroll's book 'Wings. Canada & Great Britain 1913-1945' this style of brevet was issued under an Air Regulation of March 26, 1943. In my opinion it is likely these are of that period, or possibly post-war.

Just looking at mine (N, AG, B), they have a neater backing. My Bomb Aimer and Navigator have cream thread for the wing, as opposed to white (Air Gunner).

David

All three are wartime examples and original. Not rare, $10 or less each all nice badges.

Cheers!
