Default 15th NORTH AUCKLAND BADGE HELP PLEASE

HI good evening ,

can any one help with this little lot please , it it a cap or collar badge an from what period ? .........oh an is it genuine ?

Hi Nemo,
Badge looks good to me. Hat badge size is about 33mm diameter, collar badges are smaller.

It is 33mm ,was this badge worn in both world wars ?

Hi Nemo,
This badge would have been worn by Territorial Force soldiers between the Wars and possibly by Home Guard men during WW2. The 2 NZ Expeditionary Force wore the "Onward" fern leaves badge while overseas.

Hi Nemo,

Worn from c 1912 to c 1954 when a QC version with Northland on the circle was introduced. Worn by the 15th (North Auckland ) Companies of the battalions of the Auckland Regiment during WW1. I agree with Tinto. It looks good to me.
