Default 6h (Inniskilling) Dragoons

Found this picture online. Interesting castle arm badge. Looks quite tall, and appears to not have a scroll below.

Also very interesting in that his farrier badge is worn quite low with the flag actually protruding into it.

This is a great photo.
Thanks for sharing.
Fascinating arm badge indeed, it's not in the reference books.

Chris

Imagine wearing that uniform in South Africa!

Lovely badge Billy, but I think the one in the photo is different.

I believe it is the badge billy shows.
It's the correct shape, size of flag etc.
The scroll part at the bottom is just blurry.

I've zoomed in on the badge and you can make out the scroll curve.
Hope this helps

I don’t know why Chris, but your picture won’t open for me. Could you repost please.

Default 6th (Inniskilling) Dragoons

Tried to crop the picture, for a closer look. Is there a scroll?

Definitely Billy's badge.
If you look at my zoomed in photos, You can make out the darkness of the top curve.
It's a very square badge, so the bottom of the scroll isn't that noticeable.
You can make out the bottom of the castle, then the part where the scroll is.

Chris
