Default Victorian HM Prison Collar badge found (unicorn find)
I have been seeking this collar badge for some time now,
Thanks to Bantam who let me use his image in the wants section . And Chacal spotted this badge for me.

This is a difficult item to locate as it was not worn universally and only for a short period of time1890’s through to at least 1912 as in the dated image of HMP Stafford 1912 image attached

Victorian photo is attributed to Gloucester Gaol.

Quite an unusual badge off set lugs etc I am seeking another to make a pair should anyone have one in there unknown box

Also looking for HMP Belt buckle

Close up of Stafford Officer,collar appears to be Victorian crown version IMO still being worn in 1912

Thank you to forum members and Andrew above Norfolk Reg Man and Chalcol for linking me up to these collars,

A gap in my prison service items filled I am looking for kings crown variants and HM Prison service belt buckle either Victorian or Kings crown so keep em peeled

The relic badge is a bonus.

Well done, and can only agree - you cannot beat the help, kindness and generosity of the members of this forum. I can honestly say that I never enjoyed the hobby as much as I have since joining the forum!!!
