Default Ebay offering

Does anyone know what this is? It appears to be pinned. Pagri or Sweetheart?

Officers pattern Royal Berkshire Regiment, no idea if it's a sweetheart badge!
Cheers Tony.

Thanks Tony. It would be worth the money if it were the size it appears on screen (10cms) but it's only 3cms, smaller than a button!

I have this one , lugs north south and it is 31 mm across so this is probably a badge made into a broach, Kev

Hi Folks,

As already mentioned, this is an Officer's Beret badge (circa 1948 to 1955 - when a QC pattern was introduced). (See KK1964 for a QC pattern).
This type of badge is normally 39mm H x 32mm W and can be found with 2 lugs either North/South or East/west pressumably depending upon manufacturer. (So the size given on eBay sounds about right)

Without seeing the back, I would say this was a 'proper' badge that was converted to a pinback pressumably as a sweetheart.

Cheers

Ian

Default E-bay offering

Goodness gracious, the vendor has gone through eleven world wars (11). His corner pf the world must be completely destroyed; the rest of us had difficulty coping with two (II)

Someone was eager to get it. 9 bids and nearly £50. Are they really that rare?
