Default Button, Welsh Feathers with RMC initials..

I found this button whilst out metal detecting in Cheshire yesterday and was hoping someone could enlighten me on what it is?

The button itself has the Welsh Feather on it as well as the initials R (Left) M (Right) and C (Bottom). I have attached an image though it is not the best quality.

Many Thanks,

George.

Hi George,

Here is a photo of my example.

I finally identified this as 'Royal Maylor Cavalry', Flintshire (No. 73 in Yeomanry Buttons).

Hope that helps.

Cheerio,

Roy

P.s. Happy to sell mine if anyone is interested.
