Default 6th Gurkha Rifles

What badges and buttons would have been worn by the 6th Gurkha Rifles during WW I? Did they have insignia locally made during the Gallipoli Campain? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Sending you a PM with pictures of the 6th GRs badges from Ashok Nath's book. Very unlikely that they had locally made badges unless they were procured in Cairo before arriving in Gallipoli, as there was no contact with locals while actually on Gallipoli.

The photo below [from this site: http://www.6thgurkhas.org/website/re...ipoli-campaign ] shows three Riflemen of the the 6th, the middle one wearing the '6_G' shoulder badge.
