Default BLH and FLH

I'm looking for a wee bit of help please. I have two brass shoulder titles which I was told are South African. They are BLH and FLH in brass letter with two lugs on the back. Thanks
Nigel

BLH = Border Light Horse (1903 - 1909)
FLH = Frontier Light Horse (c.1900 - Boer War)

Both Active Citizen Units of the Eastern Cape region in South Africa.
If memory serves the BLH title should be blackened, but with time someone may have polished them up to show the brass.

Please post a picture to confirm.

Default Great

Many thanks, both of you, they're the ones. I am taking them to sell at Stoneleigh this coming weekend along with a THA one. They came from relatives of mine in SA but not connected with them. Am told they are not common.
