Default Royal Hong Kong Police

Royal Hong Kong Police please! This was an honour granted the HKP in recognition of their outstanding service in the so-called Red Guard riots of 1967 (the PRC's Cultural Revolution spilling over into Hong Kong). In Hong Kong the first manifestation of trouble to come was a labour dispute in a plastic flower factory (you couldn't make it up!) Mike

These badges have been reproduced widely since 1997. I'd be happier if it was marked on the slider "Firmin London". Anything which is not, I would personally steer clear of.

Dave.

Default RHKP Cap Badge

Rather crude cast copy of the cap badge worn by all ranks beneath the rank of Assistant Commissioner ( whose were bullion). Also please note the light blue enamel, original issues bore a darker shade.
