I had an A/A South Lancs with a named slider ( I mean makers mark). The slider on this one looks a little odd and reminds me of the sliders on repro badges. This is purely my opinion based on the photos.

I agree with the comments so far, it bears the hallmarks of the typical A/A fakes. I've attached a picture of the back of the A/A one I have (Smith & Wright).

Looks like a late 1980's Gaunt unofficial commission with a LB&B slider on it.

Someones been naughty.

Here is an oblique view front and rear. Detail is very sharp and looking at the edges looks to be struck.

on the subject of a/a s.lancs i was wondering if anyone is a proud owner of the a/a beret badge which i have only ever heard of, or the a/a collar badges and if so would they mind showing a few pictures of them please

Here is the Anodised Collar badge - I only have one and have been looking for its pair for about 40 years! Apologies for poor photo - can post a better one at the weekend if needed.
