A nurse of the Australian Army Medical Corps. Taken in December 1917, on the roof of the offices of the Department of Information, 8 Buckingham Gate, London.

Question Australian Army Medical Corps 1st WW Nurse

Jo,

An interesting picture, the first one shows what appears to be a Royal Engineers cap badge worn on her right sleeve, this may of course be a Canadian Engineers badge.

Its the cloth 'Royal Australian Army Nursing Service' badge on her arm. Standard issue to all Australian nurses in WWI.
