Any chance of an image of the back of either/both titles?

as far as I can see.

P.B.
They are action figures, not children's play suits.

I remember these from when I was a lad they were printed on self adhesive material.

From the images at post #11, it's clear that this was originally attached to a knitted garment of some kind - more than likely a jersey. The general construction of the title, however, looks somewhat amateurish and I would guess that it wasn't produced by some automated process. I wonder if some military wife with needlework skills didn't produce it for Tank Commander Junior to wear on a jersey just like Dad's.

Nozzer - I found that image you posted as an actual badge on ebay, the link is here. I found quite a few others too... (click here for list on ebay) but not the illusive shoulder title.

Thanks Wooffy

I wonder how many of these Action Man badges are sitting in collections as "Un identified"

Interestingly, the ones in my post are self adhesive. The ones you show would appear to be sew on.

I don't think that the badge in the opening post is anything to do with Action Man........ I have three books on the subject by Alan Hall (Modelers Loft) and it doesn't seem to be in any of them.
