Is it just me or is there no evidence of it ever having had lugs or a slider?

It looks as though there could have been a slider at the top of the badge by the small discolouration, probably badly attached and fell off.

All the genuine ones i Have/seen and handled have got a few sweat holes. plus your eagles tongue sticks out a lot more than any of mine so i would say its a restrike
