Default RWF Volunteer Bns

Was very pleased to pick up a bronzed, bladed example for the 2nd VB recently.

I know these come up in bronze and WM for the three Volunteer Bns, but I've also seen references to gilding metal and bronzed GM versions. Can anyone shed any light on what / when those ones were used for?

Thanks in advance.
