Royal Tank Regiment Piper's Bonnet badge
Can anyone tell me when this cam in to use please?

Interestingly "The Regiment" issue 26 has a number of photos of Pipers but doesn't show the bonnet or glengary badge, unless it's the one shown in the middle of a page without caption or indication of scale.
An interesting & useful series of magazines, but also a series of missed opportunities when it comes to the photos.
