Default 5th Royal Inniskilling Dragoon Guards

Can anyone help me to date this badge, please ?

The design is one originally worn by the Officers of the 5th. Post amalgamation the 5th RIDG adopted this badge for other ranks use at the end of the 1920s. It was then worn up to and including the 1950s before being replaced by an anodised Queen's Crown version.

The other ranks badge was sealed on 30th Jan 1929 (ref. KK Vol2, p8), so yes it was the design worn during WW2.
